No Science in Science Class
Ok, this is simply hilarious, but in a disturbing kind of way. Kind of like South Park. But, we all knew it was coming. Christianity Today’s Weblog reports that the Ohio Board of Education has voted to eliminate from the 10th grade curriculum the requirement that students be able to “describe how scientists continue to investigate and critically analyze aspects of evolutionary theory.”
Wait a minute. As Weblog notes, critical investigation is the cornerstone of Science.
But apparently, evolutionists don’t think so. Despite the fact that the Ohio guidelines included a disclaimer that says, “the intent of this indicator does not mandate the teaching or testing of Intelligent Design,” evolutionists are concerned that the investigation and critical analysis of evolution would “[invite] religion into the classroom.”
So now, instead of allowing students to examine the theory of evolution for themselves (which is, after all, what scientists do), evolutionists expect students to accept evolution on faith. They have removed Science from Science Class.
And they say evolution isn’t a religion. Ha!
